요셉의 형들이 요셉에게 가서 절한 이유는 무엇인가?
요셉이 해석한 바로의 꿈대로 각국에 흉년이 심하게 든다.
야곱과 요셉의 형들이 살고 있는 가난안 땅에도 기근이 심하게 든다.
그래서 야곱의 말을 따라 요셉의 형들이 애굽에 곡식을 사러 간다.
요셉의 형들이 애굽 총리인 요셉을 알아보지 못하고 땅에 엎드려 절한다.

54 요셉의 말과 같이 일곱해 흉년이 들기 시작하매 각국에는 기근이 있으나 애굽 온 땅에는 식물이 있더니
54 And the seven years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.
55 애굽 온 땅이 주리매 백성이 바로에게 부르짖어 양식을 구하는지라 바로가 애굽 모든 백성에게 이르되 요셉에게 가서 그가 너희에게 이르는대로 하라 하니라
55 And when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said unto all the Egyptians, Go unto Joseph; what he saith to you, do.
56 온 지면에 기근이 있으매 요셉이 모든 창고를 열고 애굽 백성에게 팔쌔 애굽 땅에 기근이 심하며
56 And the famine was over all the face of the earth: and Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the Egyptians; and the famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt.
57 각국 백성도 양식을 사려고 애굽으로 들어와 요셉에게 이르렀으니 기근이 온 세상에 심함이었더라
57 And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.
창세기/Genesis 42:3~8
3 요셉의 형 십인이 애굽에서 곡식을 사려고 내려갔으나
3 And Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy corn in Egypt.
4 야곱이 요셉의 아우 베냐민을 그 형들과 함께 보내지 아니하였으니 이는 그의 말이 재난이 그에게 미칠까 두렵다 함이었더라
4 But Benjamin, Joseph's brother, Jacob sent not with his brethren; for he said, Lest peradventure mischief befall him.
5 이스라엘의 아들들이 양식 사러간 자 중에 있으니 가나안 땅에 기근이 있음이라
5 And the sons of Israel came to buy corn among those that came: for the famine was in the land of Canaan.
6 때에 요셉이 나라의 총리로서 그 땅 모든 백성에게 팔더니 요셉의 형들이 와서 그 앞에서 땅에 엎드려 절하매
6 And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.
7 요셉이 보고 형들인줄 아나 모르는체 하고 엄한 소리로 그들에게 말하여 가로되 너희가 어디서 왔느냐 그들이 가로되 곡물을 사려고 가나안에서 왔나이다
7 And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.
8 요셉은 그 형들을 아나 그들은 요셉을 알지 못하더라
8 And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him.
요셉이 꾼 꿈은 무엇인가?
요셉이 꾼 꿈은 무엇인가? 이스라엘(야곱)은 12 아들이 있었고, 그들은 장차 이스라엘의 열두 지파가 된다. 요셉의 두 번째 꿈에 11 별 이야기는 요셉을 제외한 나머지 형제들을 이야기하는 것임
